My title, Beef on Weck, refers to a sandwich from Western New York. It consists of thinly sliced roast beef served on a kummelweck roll, dipped in au jus and finished with a side of horseradish.
I wanted to keep this very simple in order to focus on the sandwich itself.
I began by stenciling a hexagon pattern here and there on a sheet of white cardstock.
Next, I built up layers of elements from 49 & Market’s laser cut elements, inking some of them around the edges to add a bit of definition.
And that was it: quick, easy and simple!!!!
