This photo came up in my Facebook memories the other day and although I scrapped it last February, the July Scrapbook Kit from Tres Jolie, loaded with papers from the 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Collection, flowers and Tres Jolie’s own chipboard butterflies - along with the Mood Board - was too perfect for me to pass another opportunity.
And here is that amazing Mood Board!
Lots of layering going on here…. Kim has included this line in several of her kits before. I’ve dug out the ephemera package from last February and some stitched frames from July 2020. As usual, I’ve backed each layer with cardboard packaging to lend spacing and dimension. (I cut that pink doily piece on the bottom in half and spaced it a bit.)
Once everything was assembled, I glued it down and started on my embellishments.
I painted the chipboard butterflies with Sparks acrylic paint; I just love the resulting shimmer. While these pieces were drying, I arranged the flowers and glued them down. (Some of the greenery was left over from a previous package; it certainly pays to hoard – even your scraps!)
I finished my page with some of the Bubbles and Baubles stickers, using one for my title and scattering others around the page.
