This is my first layout using the October Scrapbook Kit from Tres Jolie.
The Keenan sisters of my title are Kate, Maggie and my great-grandmother, Jane. I thought that this collection from Craft O’Clock, with the soft colors and vintage type prints would make a nice background for this photo taken on a summer day over a century ago.
I started by cutting several pieces of another sheet of patterned paper and punching around the edges to compliment the coffee-stained doilies and crochet lace from my stash.
I’ve embellished my layout using a combination of fussy cut flowers (from the bonus sheet) and some blooms from the October 2019 kit.
My favorite piece here is the chipboard musical note heart, primed with gesso and covered with a coating of Sparks…
