Always and Forever - Layout for Swirlydoos

This is my second project - and first layout - made with the gorgeous Swirlydoos Love Letters Kit, featuring the Kaisercraft P.S. I Love You Collection - so perfect for this photo of my parents celebrating my sister's wedding back in 1975.

For the base, I selected one of the Core'dinations cardstock sheets that came in the Cardstock Add-On. I cut an 8" square from the middle, putting it aside for another time. (This is a good way to stretch your supplies: simply cut 2" away from all four sides; when you're only using the edge for a base, you really don't need to use the entire sheet.) I taped the resulting "frame" to an 11" piece of chipboard to keep it sturdy.
The Companionship sheet is designed with the image on the right edge and I wanted it closer to the middle so I could mount my photo a bit more off the center, so I trimmed just under 4" from the left side. I used some of the Soul Mates paper to fill the rest of the page, cutting it a bit on the diagonal because I liked the way that the pattern lay. After taping all of this down on my base, I took the Ornate Frames piece that was left from my OTP Tell Your Story project, inked the borders inside and out and glued some cardboard strips that I cut from packaging on the underside to give it some dimension and adhered it to my layout.
To cover the seam that joined the pattern paper, I went through my lace "collection" and found this beautiful piece. To give it an aged look, I rolled it up, tied it loosely with some twine, and soaked it first in water and then in coffee for several minutes until I was satisfied with the color.
My photo itself was matted with a few scraps of pattern paper and a couple of pieces from an antique music book.

I designed my flower cluster with a few of the blooms that came in the 49 and Market flower package and some flowers and beads from Prima's Salvage District collection.

The music note chippie was colored with Prima chalk ink and placed on the side. I then filled the gaps with Art Stones that I painted with Prima Color Bloom mist.
My title is actually a Moment sticker; those entwined hearts are jump rings - both just a few of the fun pieces that Krissy added to the main kit.
