I decided to use
the October Très Jolie sketch to create the second of my “away” layouts. The
kit included a package of 12 x 12 corrugated sheets along with some pretty
chippies from Creative Embellishments and a gorgeous paper collection from
Craft O’Clock, a company from Poland.
This
is another quick & easy page.
First,
I used ScōrTape to adhere the corrugate to a piece of packaging to give my
finished layout some stability. Next, I tore the paper into a few pieces,
keeping about 2/3 of the sheet whole. While I was at it, I tore a few bits from
a second sheet of the corrugate.
I played around with the pieces until I was
satisfied with their placement and glued them to some packaging.
I attached the
large piece of the paper to the base, and then added the matting. The photo was
taped to some packaging for dimension and then glued down.
I added flowers,
some from the Très Jolie kit, some from my stash, and a fussy cut clock.
I left
the chipboard piece bare and glued it down, somewhat tucking it under my
embellies cluster.
Lastly, I added
the title, cut from the Quotes sheet. (I love this piece: one side is in
English, the other in Polish; I think I just may use that second side for
something!)
