Timeless

I recently spent a long weekend scrapping with a few wonderful (and inspirational) ladies in what has become an annual get-together. I packed a few basic tools and most of the October Très Jolie kit that had just arrived in the mail. Oh, and photos! One glance and I knew that the Craft O’Clock papers that Kim had sent would be perfect for a few of the vintage photos that I had wanted to use for some time now.

First up is this image of my great-grandparents, John and Jane Keenan McCormick.

I started by lightly inking the paper here and there through a stencil to give my background a little more texture.
The flourish and title chipboard were altered with chalk ink and put aside to set while I fussy cut and inked several pieces from the Project Life and the back of the Title sheet for matting.
I added a few flowers from my stash and a clock from the Images sheet and called it done: a clean and simple (for me) layout – just the thing to do while chatting with friends!
